Employment & Contractor

Employment & Contractor Investigations: When an Employee or Employer has a cause.

Whether you're the employee or employer, the contact employee or contractor, there are agreements that safeguard each party. Whistle-blower claims fall under this umbrella as well. Providing proof of a claim is vital, and that is where an investigator can be valuable.

An employment contract or contract of employment is a kind of contract used in labor law to attribute rights and responsibilities between parties. The contract is between an "employee" and an "employer", which is not the same as independent contractor contracts.

An independent contractor is a person, business, or corporation that provides goods or services to another entity under terms specified in a contract or within a verbal agreement. Unlike an employee, an independent contractor does not work regularly for an employer under normal employment law circumstances. Independent contractors are usually paid on a freelance basis.

Surveillance and witness testimony are the best way to prove these factors, and that is where our dedicated investigators can help assist in providing our customers with the best opportunity to prove their case.

*Independent Contractor & Employment investigations need a minimum of 3 hours. This is to ensure a minimum standard of quality. If more hours are desired for a more thorough investigation, both the customer and investigator will communicate that need. Customers are never charged without their approval.
